MISSION
The mission of Sebastian Bilingual School, Inc, is to provide a teaching program through a constructivist educational methodology, where our children can be an integral part of teaching-learning development. We will work on the social, physical, emotional and cognitive aspects of each student.
We are committed to forge children, who respect the environment, the differences that exist between all human beings, and that it would be part of the immediate, and long-term development of their environment. Thus forming in our children the values that will help them to be excellent citizens in the future. We aim to reach the children of the communities near our Institution, providing a safe place where parents can leave their children. A place where each student is an individual who reacts in different ways to the daily situations that may arise.
The teacher will be a knowledge facilitator to students. Providing the appropriate, and necessary strategies, so that each of them can build their own way of learning. Starting from the constructivist philosophy, the students enrolled in Sebastian Bilingual School, Inc. will:
-Develop their knowledge in the Spanish and English language.
-Develop social, cultural, sports and ethical values for life.
-Develop the creative capacity of the student through formative experiences in humanistic and fine arts.
-Develop a sense of belonging, and body health through competitive participation in sports and music.
-Develop through a democratic process, being educated with a high sense of duty and social responsibility.
-Participate actively in the development of each of the classes.
-Learn in an integrated way (teacher-student-environment).
-Apply their knowledge by having real and concrete experiences.
-Will gain through each teaching a new and meaningful knowledge.
-Will value their environment.
